This series consists of press releases from offices of state legislators in the senate and assembly, the executive chamber governors Rockefeller and Lindsay, and various state agencies. Also included are transcripts of speeches; supplemental state budgets for 1962 and 1966; lists of legislative correspondents; and broadcast transcripts for the television program "Legislative Hearing" (1965-1966). A wide variety of subjects are covered in the series, notably: commerce; workman's compensation; milk pricing; tax laws and retorm; bond issues; civil rights; and Republican Party politics.
